Oh my, oh my!!! So my last post was January 2009 and its NEARLY 2012!! As you can see I have not managed to keep up my enthusiasm and grand ideas of blogging!! It has been nearly 3 years!! Yikes! Time to give it another go I think!
So what has happened in the last three years…..hmmm…..
Well, the most significant and wonderful thing is that I became a mummy! I have a beautiful little girl called Bailey and she is 17 months! She is a little firecracker and keeps me and my husband very entertained! She is so fun! LOVE her!
So, I think I have began to think about selling on eBay again as a result of getting pretty fed up of all the clutter in my house. I have been very close to just throwing it all out but I have known deep down that all of the clutter, more than likely has the potential to be a nice little earner! If you note the date of this post, it is very close to Christmas and selling some unwanted goods on eBay is better than selling a kidney to pay for all the festivities! ;D
Over the last few years I have found myself becoming a bit more creative in making money and spending it smartly! Before Bailey was born, I began to sort through all of the clutter and decided what could be sold. I guess I was ‘nesting’!! I decided that I would fill some big black bags with items either for ‘eBay’ or ‘Car Boot’. I managed to go to a local car boot sale and sold all of the items, making £100!! This then paid for all of the things we needed for Baileys arrivial, such as muslin, change mat, cotton buds ect! All those little items add up so it was great to have that cash to use on it!
It has taken me ages however to get going with selling everything else on eBay…. I think this is hugely to do with my confidence in using eBay. I’m sure there are others out there similar to me, where you feel completely put off using something that is computer and internet based and freak out at the thought of “clicking on the wrong thing and it all going wrong and not having a clue how to fix it”!!! I am very blessed with a husband who is very computer savvy and he keeps me right but I have to say that I am getting much more confident but maybe I am just more determined than ever to get rid of the clutter and make some cash!
I hope to post about how I have been getting on with my attempts at selling on eBay and any other fun creative money saving/making ideas! I also think that I will post about some nice things that I find that are fun ways to be creative and just interest me really!!
) Not sure how often? Although maybe sooner that 3 years eh!! ;o) How often do you blog? Is it worth doing every day? Maybe every week? What are your thoughts? Would be nice to hear what others do. Maybe you have some good ways of blogging that you could share with us newbies? I’m planning on using my wordpress app on my mobile so when I’m out for coffee and Bailey is sleeping, I can pop a wee post up!
So lets see how it goes!!…..
Have a wee look at my hubby’s blog over at http://blog.kitdrummer.com/
